When we took the decision to open the European Flagship Store for Patagonia in the heart of Covent Garden, London we decided to appoint Sherwood Surveyors as Project Managers and CDM Co-ordinator for the project.

Their expert team lead us through the process, initially providing a feasibility report and costings along with advice regarding the historic listed building and our legal obligations in relation to the conservation status. Once we had decided to proceed, Sherwood Surveyors managed the whole process from appointment of the design team, arranging for suitable contractors to tender for the works, preparing contract documentation and managing the project on site. The project was completed on time, under budget and without incident.

Structural survey and report on defects to timber frame extension to large Parish Council and Commercial building 

I contacted Sherwood Surveyors to help us with one of our commercial properties which was showing signs of structural movement to various locations. They provided a clear and concise appointment letter which helped me understand what they would be doing and what the cost would be.

The visiting surveyor was friendly and very knowledgeable and explained clearly the cause of the movement and damage, which was very helpful and allowed me to relay the information to others.

I was very impressed with how quickly they issued their detailed report, which provided clear explanation of the causes and recommendations for further investigations. The recommendations were followed and they guided us through the process which included; arranging for builders to expose the building structure, arranging for a CCTV survey of the drains to be completed and liaising with a representative from our insurance company.

Throughout the process they offered expert advice and support [on matters outside my field of expertise] and were always happy to answer any questions I had which helped me a lot and allowed me to make important decisions regarding the operation of the busy building and financial implications regarding the necessary repair and re-building works.
