METHOD STATEMENTS

In the construction industry clients have a number of duties and responsibilities under Health & Safety legislation. We can help to advise you on these.

Sherwood Surveyors take health and safety seriously and all technical staff hold The Institution of Occupational Safety & Health (IOSH) ‘Managing Safety Certificate’.

We can help advise clients or work with them to prepare method statements in order to provide instructions on how to undertake a safe method of work or safe work procedure.

Previous clients have included contractors who had to supply method statements (with the necessary detail) as part of a tender submission for a long term maintenance contract. We have also have experience of preparing method statements for clients following a health and safety audit of their offices.

We can work with you to help to compile documentation that details specific instructions on how to perform a work task safely in order that you and your employees as well as your organisation are best protected.
